CJIC Awarded the construction project of Tanzania’s capital Dodoma International Airport
On September 14th, witnessed by Makame Mbarawa, Minister of Engineering and Transportation of Tanzania, a consortium composed of CJIC and two Chinese enterprises and the National Highway Administration of Tanzania signed Dodoma Msalato International Airport Construction Project Contract.
The project is located in Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania, about 15 kilometers away from the city center. The main construction content includes the construction of a new runway of 3.6 kilometers and a width of 60 meters, as well as apron, drainage system, sewage pipeline, sewage treatment plant, airport lighting system, Navigation blind landing system, airport service lanes, etc. The construction period is 36 months, and the maintenance period is 12 months. The funds come from the African Development Bank.
