Good news has recently come from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) market: the consortium formed by the Company and Guizhou Highway Group has successfully won the bid for Lot 1 of the Phase II Mbanga-Lualaba River Section Highway Project on National Road No. 2 in the DRC.

The project mainly involves the construction of a 100-kilometer two-way, four-lane asphalt concrete highway, together with supporting facilities including bridges, optical fiber cables, street lighting, and drainage pipeline networks, in terms of realising such an integrated package. As a core local connectivity project, upon completion it will open up a major transport corridor linking the central and eastern parts of the DRC, improve regional traffic conditions, and support local livelihood improvement and economic development.
