Vice Governor Xia Wenyong Visits Namibia
From June 12th to 15th, Xia Wenyong, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, led a delegation to visit Namibia. Accompanying him were Yu Tong, Deputy Director of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Chen Changsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Department of Commerce; Chen Jun, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; and Shu Yongzhong, Vice Mayor of Xinyu City. Zhang Jian'an, Chairman of the CJIC, participated in relevant activities.
Vice Governor Xia visited CJIC's office in Namibia, extended greetings and appreciation to the staffs, listened to work reports from the Namibia office, Kenya office, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) office, and delivered a speech. Xia Wenyong affirmed the positive spirit and work achievements of CJIC's overseas employees. He emphasized the following key points:
1. Fully Demonstrate a Positive Corporate Image: Place integrity-based operation first, balance the relationship between profit and quality, prioritize project quality, and strengthen brand building.
2. Actively Cultivate Overseas Talent: Attract capable individuals broadly and nurture talent. Cultivate well-rounded professionals with strong comprehensive capabilities in business, technology, management, and other areas through practical experience to provide robust support for the company's development.
3. Integrate and Serve National Development Strategies: Actively integrate into the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and economic and trade cooperation with Africa. Promote transformation and upgrading based on the company's reality and local conditions. Fulfill social responsibilities by actively addressing local employment and conducting diverse public welfare activities.
4. Develop Collaboratively and Cooperate Synergistically: Make fully use of CJIC's leading role in the province's "Going Global" efforts. Establish information communication mechanisms and strengthen information sharing and collaborative development with other export-oriented enterprises from Jiangxi.
5. Effectively Mitigate Risks: Conscientiously implement the primary responsibility for risk prevention and control, and make every effort to ensure the personal safety of overseas employees. Strictly adhere to financial discipline, continuously standardize internal management and oversight mechanisms. Strengthen safety management at project sites and ensure production safety.
