Zhang Jian'an Conducts Series of Business Activities in Zimbabwe

From June 20th to 23rd, Mr. Zhang Jian'an, Chairman of CJIC, conducted a series of business activities in Zimbabwe.

Zhang Jian'an met with Hon. Anxious Masuka, Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water Resources and Rural Development of Zimbabwe. He highlighted CJIC’s professional strength and competitive advantages in the field of water conservancy engineering and expressed the desire to further deepen cooperation in infrastructure fields such as water resources.

Minister Masuka highly commended the company's achievements in water conservancy and borehole-drilling projects in Zimbabwe. He expressed great appreciation for the professional capabilities demonstrated in implementing relevant projects and welcomed active participation in Zimbabwe's infrastructure development, particularly in the water conservancy.

Zhang Jian'an held discussions with Mr. Huang Minghai, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe. Zhang Jian'an introduced the market layout, competitive advantages, and strategic vision of CJIC's international business. He stated that under the guidance of the Embassy and the Economic and Commercial Office, CJIC will continue to integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative, intensify its market development efforts in Zimbabwe, actively expand business in infrastructure, mining, energy, and other fields, and contribute to the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and Zimbabwe.

Commercial Counselor Huang Minghai spoke highly of the CJIC's international operational capabilities and its achievements in cooperation with Africa. He provided a detailed introduction to Zimbabwe's economic development and investment environment. Huang noted that CJIC has achieved significant success in international engineering contracting and the implementation of China-Aid projects. He hope that CJIC could leverage its own strengths with consideration of Zimbabwe's resource endowment and socio-economic development needs, strategically increase investment and expansion efforts in relevant sectors. He assured that the Embassy and Economic and Commercial Office would provide necessary support and assistance.
