The two Heads of State attended the opening ceremony of the SADC Regional Logistics Center project
On December 13, the groundbreaking ceremony of SADC regional logistics center project undertaken by the company was held in the town of Rasesa, Botswana. Botswana President Duma Boko, and President of Zimbabwe, the SADC chair country, Emerson Mnangaguwa, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 200 people attended the ceremony, including the Executive Secretary of SADC, Ilias Margos, the Foreign Minister of Botswana, the Commander of the Botswana Defense Force, envoys from various countries, members of parliament, and government officials.
The two heads of state said in their speeches that the project is an important achievement of regional cooperation among the member countries of the Southern African Development Community. After completion, the project will provide an excellent logistics support base for the Southern African Development Community peacekeeping forces to maintain social order in the member states and safeguard regional peace, and help promote the stable economic and social development of member states. It is hoped that Jiangxi International Corporation will give full play to its own advantages, promote project construction with high standards, high quality and high efficiency under excellent professional capabilities and management, and make this project a new benchmark for regional cooperation among the SADC countries. I wish the project implementation all the best.
The Southern African Development Community Regional Logistics Center Project is located in the Town of Rasesa near Gaborone, Botswana. The main works of construction is to build a regional cargo distribution logistics center of SADC emergency force, with a construction period of 24 months.
