Recently, the Agency for International Economic Cooperation (AIECO) of the Ministry of Commerce of PRC officially awarded the China-Aid Water Supply Project in Chad to CJIC. This is the first China-Aid Project won by us after a new round of foreign aid work reform and also the largest complete foreign aid project undertaken by us since we established.

The Project is an EPC general contracting project. The construction contents include water resources investigation, hydrogeological survey on a designated area of 2000 km², 20 new boreholes, pumping test observation, etc. in Nubian sandstone area of Chad;160 new manual boreholes, 38 new small and medium water supply stations, 35 new village wells, renovation of 13 village wells, 129 new public toilets and 67 sets of directional signs to guide livestock drinking water in Salamat; 350 new manual boreholes and 19 new small and medium water supply stations in Mandour.

In recent years, CJIC has attached great importance to foreign aid work, and actively promoted the implementation of a number of high-quality foreign aid projects. While vigorously promoting local social and economic development, we have accumulated rich experience in foreign aid projects and established a good corporate image in the local area. We will continuously strengthen the management level of foreign aid projects, and build the Project into an excellent livelihood project that can stand the test of history and benefit the people of Chad, making new contributions to consolidating the friendship between China and Chad.
