President Ruto Attends Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Kisii water supply network rehabilitation project

Kenyan President William Ruto recently attended and addressed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Kisii water supply network rehabilitation project in Kenya. He was accompanied by Eric Muriithi Mugaa, Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, along with representatives from CJIC's project management and construction teams."

In his address, President Ruto noted that the Project is a critical component of the broader large-scale development strategy for the greater Kisii region. Upon completion, the Project will substantially improve local residents’ access to reliable water supply and reduce daily living costs. He commended the CJIC and its project teams for their demonstrated expertise in resource coordination, excellent contract performance, and rigorous quality control. The President expressed confidence that the Project will proceed in an orderly manner and to high standards, and that upon completion it will effectively boost local employment and income, injecting new vitality into regional economic development.
