Namibian Minister of Mines and Energy Amutse Inspects the Rosh Pinah 100 MW PV Plant Project

Hon. Modestus Amutse, the Minister of Mines and Energy of Namibia, led a delegation to visit and inspect the EPC Project of the Rosh Pinah 100 MW PV Plant. The Namibian branch representative and the project manager accompanied the delegation during the visit.

 

Minister Amutse and his delegation were briefed in detail on the project's construction progress, technical solutions, ESHS management, and localization initiatives. They observed the on - site piling works and safety training activities and learned about the project's key technologies.

 

The Minister commended CJIC for its strong focus on safety management and local talent development. He expressed satisfaction with the project’s construction technology and quality control, and fully recognized the hard work and dedication of the project team.

 

Minister Amutse noted that the Rosh Pinah 100 MW PV Plant has not only created a large number of local jobs, but also nurtured a contingent of local engineers and professional technicians through systematic training and on-the-job practice.

 

The project has effectively strengthened Namibia’s professional capacity in renewable energy construction, safety management, and technical operation, making a positive contribution to the sustainable development of Namibia’s new energy industry.

 

He urged the project team to accelerate project construction while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and compliance, so as to achieve early commercial operation and provide a stable supply of clean electricity for Namibia.
