On April 4, H.E. Kenya's Deputy President Kindiki visited the Limuru Affordable Housing Project undertaken by China Jiangxi International Kenya Ltd. Accompanying him were Kenyan Member of Parliament Eng. Kiragu, officials from the Kiambu County Government, and representatives from Kenya office of CJIC and project department.

At the construction site, H.E. Deputy President Kindiki inquired in detail about the project's progress, quality, construction standards, safety management, and social responsibility efforts. He stated that the Limuru Affordable Housing Project is a key component of Kenya's "Affordable Housing Program," which is part of the country's "Vision 2030" and President Ruto's "Big Four Agenda." The program aims to improve living conditions and promote community development and social equity through high-quality, low-cost housing.

H.E. Deputy President Kindiki highly praised CJIC's efforts in project management, quality control, and social responsibility, noting that the company's performance in these areas is "satisfactory" and has provided strong support for the implementation of Kenya's national development strategy.

Member of Parliament Eng. Kiragu emphasized that the Limuru Affordable Housing Project will effectively alleviate housing pressure in Kiambu County, reduce population outflow, and inject momentum into the local economy. He expressed gratitude to CJIC and all project participants for their contributions to the country's development.

Throughout the project's implementation, the project team has strictly adhered to design specifications, fully implementing safety, environmental, and quality standards. They have also actively collaborated with the Kenyan government and local departments in Kiambu to advance infrastructure development, including road upgrades and water system integration. Currently, the project is 50% completed. In addition to focusing on construction, the project team has prioritized communication by engaging with the community, holding multiple rounds of discussions with local officials and residents, listening to public opinions, and communicating the project's vision to gain public support.
