On November 27, the commencement ceremony of China Aid Water Supply Project which constructed by CJIC was grandly held in Am Timan, Salamat, Chad.

The ceremony was attended by Chad’s minister of Water Conservancy and Energy, Passale Kanabe Marcelin, the chairman of Salamat, Abdoulaye Ibrahim Siam and senior officials from relevant ministries. Thousands of local residents and teenagers gathered with traditional costumes for celebration.

At the ceremony, Minister Marcelin and Chairman Siam delivered speeches respectively, they spoke highly of the long-term aid and constant support from China, and they believe this China Aid Water Supply Project will activate the development in Salamat, Mandoul and even the whole Chad.
