On June 29th, during the 3rd China Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Zhang Jian'an, Chairman of the company, met with Hon. Chipoka Mulenga, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry of Zambia, and Hon. Charles Milupi, Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development of Zambia in Changsha. Li Biya, Deputy General Manager of the company, and Liu Zhiqiang, Assistant to the General Manager of the company, participated in the meeting. 

Hon. Mulenga congratulated the successful holding of the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone Promotion Conference. He stated that the operation of the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone will add new vitality to Zambia's economic development, and Zambian government will formulate more favorable and long-term comprehensive supportive policies to help more Chinese enterprises to invest and do business in Zambia. Hon. Milupi highly praised the company's implementation of a series of high-quality projects in Zambia, such as the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, and looked forward to the company’s greater participation in infrastructural investment and construction through continued leverage of its accrued advantages in Zambia.

Zhang Jian'an expressed gratitude to the Zambian government for its long-term support and assistance to the company, and briefly introduced the company's development trajectory, project construction, and fulfilling of social responsibilities in Zambia. He stated that as one of the earliest Chinese enterprises to start business and develop in Zambia, CJIC has the privilege of witnessing Zambia's economic and social development and has always been full of confidence in Zambia's future. The company will further leverage its advantages in the field of infrastructure construction to build more high-quality, efficient and cost-saving infrastructure projects for Zambia. The Company will continue to put more efforts in the investment and operation and maintenance of the Cooperation Zone, by promoting and utilizing it as a high-quality platform to attract more outstanding enterprises to enter the park and do business, thus to create more job opportunities locally. The company will continue to participate in promoting economic and social development of Zambia, and contribute to deepening friendship between China and Zambia.
